THINGS TO DO WITH CHILDREN:

1. Nils Aas Art Workshop - Try making your own woodcut in the workshop.
June 8 - August 11, 2024
OPEN: Tue - Sun 11 AM - 4 PM (Closed on Mondays)
This summer, you can create your own woodcut and experience a graphic process from A to Z. There are also various levels of difficulty, so everyone can try making their own print.

In the gallery, join a sculpture hunt with an activity booklet for the permanent exhibition Nils Aas - Life and Work.

2. Rostad Farm - Outdoor Activities.

A great outdoor area with disc golf, a football pitch, and a playground for children. Beautiful hiking trails in the vicinity. You can also hear an interesting story from what was once the home of Norway’s Prime Minister. Perhaps the adults would like to join a guided tour while the kids play?

3. Selsethloftet - Treasure Hunt and Farm Animals.

Here you can greet the animals grazing on the farm, including sheep and cool Dexter cows. Along the path up from Selsethloftet, many colored balls are hidden—let the kids join the hunt. How many can you find? At the top of the path, there’s a large swing for two, a great area for both young and old.
