About 10 minutes by car from Steinkjer is Gangstad Gårdsysteri. Here you are welcomed to their farm shop. They sell delicious ice cream, the world’s best cheese (2023), and new this summer, lunch dishes prepared by Marens Bakeri - it's a good idea to order lunch in advance so it doesn’t run out. From here, it’s also not far to great swimming spots (feel free to ask us). If you continue driving for about 10 minutes, you’ll reach Straumen, the center of Inderøy (about 20 minutes from Steinkjer). Or drive towards Kjerknesvågen for 10-15 minutes, and you’ll arrive at Kjernesvågen Kai or Berg Gård and Inderøy Brenneri.
