LOCAL FOOD FROM SHEEP AND PIGS

Berg Farm is among the local food producers known for high quality. Agriculturally, they raise winter-fed sheep and free-range pigs. The meat is processed and either sold or served at the farm's restaurant. They also produce grain and caraway.

FARM SHOP “LANDHANDELEN”

In the farm shop, we offer a large selection of our own meat products. We also have good varieties of local specialties, with a particular focus on self-produced meat from winter-fed sheep and free-range pigs. The farm shop also sells rapeseed oil from its own production and our popular bread. The farm's bread and meat products are also available in local grocery stores and at designated stops along the Golden Detour.

SPIRITED EXPERIENCES

Aquavit has a central place in Norwegian food and drink traditions. Did you know that **Johan B. Morken** from Inderøy was an aquavit missionary and an advocate for aquavit? He was born in 1830 and worked his entire life to promote good spirits. It was at Berg Farm that he built his mission station for aquavit. We offer guided tours and tastings of his stories and experiences.
