ACCOMMODATION

The five hotel rooms at SAGA are tastefully decorated; old objects have been given new life, combined with modern comfort, fresh colours, and not least photographic art. Reuse, sustainability, functionality and comfort have been key priorities. Here you will find, among other things, a corrugated metal wall made from material originating from the building itself, and old fuses now serving as room number signs. You can choose between family rooms, double rooms and single rooms. The family room has a private bathroom, while the other rooms share two large, bright bathrooms and also have access to an additional toilet in the building’s entrance area. There are also opportunities for a refreshing dip in the fjord, and SAGA’s outdoor sauna also has shower facilities.

SAGA SAUNA

The sauna, a stylish and luxurious sauna handmade by Iglucraft in Estonia, is electrically heated, with a sauna heater from HUUM, and has room for 10 people. The sauna has a shower, and from the terrace outside, stone steps lead directly down to the fjord for those who want a refreshing cool-down. SAGA offers drop-in sauna sessions. Check the drop-in calendar at: https://sagasauna.hoopla.no. Group hire/private hire can be booked by contacting SAGA by phone or email. The sauna has its own food and drinks menu. This is served by agreement and advance booking.

Hotel guests at SAGA can book sauna time at reception. An additional fee applies for use of the sauna.

SAGA is the perfect place for small businesses looking to get away from familiar surroundings for team building, skills development, or simply to reward employees with a different kind of outing. Typical stays include day gatherings or lunch-to-lunch stays, but the hosts are flexible and will help facilitate all kinds of gatherings.

Weddings, christenings, class reunions, birthdays or confirmations; SAGA also has beautiful premises for these types of events. The programme is tailored to your wishes, and the hosts take care of the arrangements on the day itself so that you can relax and enjoy the celebration.
