The farm shop Gulburet is located mid-way between Sandvollan and Straumen in Inderøy, more specifically on the idyllic farm Verdal Østre.
FARM SHOP DOWNSTAIRS, CAFÉ UPSTAIRS
The ground floor of the yellow «storehouse» (buret) offers a haven of local food, handicrafts and local history.
The first floor of Gulburet features a cosy cafe, where you can relax with home baked goods made from both modern and old recipes, lunch dishes and local beverages.
On sunny days, you can also enjoy the café’s refreshments out in the sheltered courtyard. Shielded from the breeze by the trees, you relax and enjoy a quiet moment with old and new acquaintances.
A LARGE SELECTION OF LOCAL FOOD
The local food available at Gulburet is from the farm itself, from producers along the Golden Road and Trøndelag. Thus featuring a wide variety of sausages and other meat products, herring, cheese, honey, baked goods, jams and marmalades and much more.
BEER BREWED ON THE FARM
In the small micro brewery on the farm, several kinds of draft beer are produced. The beer is served in the café all year and of course to dining guests. 2 varieties are on offer at all times, depending on the season.
Next door to the farm shop is the new farm bakery, where fresh bread from old and modern recipes are baked. Some of the breads are made from ancient grain, but all the baked goods are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients. All available in the farm shop.
Gulburet is not a place to visit when you are in a hurry, as you don’t want to leave once you have entered the farm yard. Make time for pleasant conversations, storytelling, refreshments as well as shopping in the farm shop.
Gulburet also have wonderful meeting facilities that are regularly hired out for meetings, banqueting and events.
